Daytime Direct Support Professionals

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) help individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities lead a self-directed life and be a part of the community. DSPs help with activities of daily living and encourage attitudes and behaviors that help an individual with special needs fully integrate into the community. DSPs also act as advocates for the individual, in communicating their needs, self expression and goals.

Typical schedules include:

  • Three 12-hour shifts which include one weekend day

  • 48 or 56 hour weekend (Friday - Sunday)

  • Part-time weekend (Saturday & Sunday)

  • Various Monday - Friday shifts available

DSP Qualifications:

  • At least 19 years of age

  • Has a high school diploma/GED

  • Has a current and valid driver's license

  • Meet CLO's driving requirements

  • Experience working with special needs population is a plus
