We are honored to announce that the City of Lawrence has awarded GoodLife funding under the 2021 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding cycle to help improve and rehabilitate the homes for more than 40 individuals served in Lawrence, Kansas. Federal Housing and Urban Development‘s CDBG program provides communities with resources to address a range of development needs.

Each year, nonprofit and for-profit organizations submit their proposals into the competitive applications process for a chance to fund their projects and this year, GoodLife was selected. This project enables GoodLife to deliver access to safe and affordable housing, trusted community-based resources, and economic security for individuals with limited and low income. Thanks to the support of the City of Lawrence, GoodLife is transforming lives and creating meaningful opportunities for residents to lead safe, healthy, and inclusive lifestyles.
