A Kansas Collaboration to Improve Behavior Supports

Improving Access to Behavioral Support in Kansas

Kansas faces a growing gap in behavioral health services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). To help meet this need, GoodLife shared its research-backed, best-practice strategies with providers statewide—offering free training designed to elevate care for those with complex needs.

A Collaborative Effort

This effort was made possible through the partnership of GoodLife University (GoodLife Innovations + KU Department of Applied Behavioral Science), KDADS, Sunflower Health Plan, and the Centene Foundation.

Training Impact

Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts delivered practical, preventative training and behavior support plan writing workshops, tailored for Kansas HCBS providers and Targeted Case Managers (TCMs). These sessions aimed to improve care outcomes and strengthen behavior support systems across the state.
