Get to Know GoodLife

GoodLife Innovations, Inc. is redefining what’s possible for seniors and people with disabilities. We offer a growing collection of community living service models, support services, and technologies to deliver affordable, high-quality, sustainable private care. Our models of care are established within a well-selected neighborhood, and infuse remote support technologies and professional, next-door caregivers.

Our History

Building on 40+ years of experience serving those with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) through award-winning and nationally-regarded service models, Community Living Opportunities, Inc. (CLO) is expanding its mission to support senior independent living under a new parent company, GoodLife Innovations, Inc. We believe a life of dignity and independence is possible, no matter the challenge. We aim to maximize the abilities of each individual by pairing innovative home care services with independence. GoodLife empowers residents with the support, services and technology needed to thrive within the community.

Outcome-Based Training and Quality Assurance

The first step to implementing best-practice programs is to define service expectations and the desired outcomes for the individuals receiving services. GoodLife strives for these standards:

Pleasant and safe surroundings

Observance of legal and personal rights

Positive relationships with others

Healthy lifestyles

Opportunities for choice and control

Effective learning opportunities

High level of participation in daily experiences

Community involvement

Effective communication

Pleasant social environment

Satisfied consumers

GoodLife employs a nationally regarded and evidence-based quality assurance model for evaluating service quality against these standards, as well as individualized, person-centered outcomes.  This approach includes training, coaching, professional evaluations, and consumer satisfaction evaluations that come together as a certification program.

A life of independence, a future of possibilities

More and more families need help caring for loved ones with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and as the population ages, baby boomers are searching for age-in-place solutions. We believe that traditional care choices like group homes, assisted living and in-home care services are not the long-term solution to meet these growing needs. They are too expensive, promote increased dependence and are not the type of care you want for yourself and your family. That’s why we’ve designed the Neighborhood Network to center around on-demand remote services and professional caregivers as neighbors – all to support a life of independence and thriving future for your family.

Our Care Model

How we care starts with a well-selected neighborhood. On top of that we stack robust volunteer networks (Vibrant Village), remote support technologies (iLink), and next-door caregivers (Professional Neighbors).
