C-TRAN Tours Neighborhood Network

C-TRAN Tours Neighborhood Network

On Wednesday, March 23rd, GoodLife welcomed C-Tran for a tour of our Douglas County Neighborhood Network program and residences.

The Lawrence Public Schools Community Transition Program (C-TRAN) is a special education path for young adults 18-21. The program provides direct instruction, continued work experience, functional academics, independent living and self-care skills and development in order to help students with daily schedules and a plan upon exiting school services.

We were so excited to show the group around! Those touring with us got to see what residential services we offer, learn about how our Neighborhood Networks support independent living, and see how we use iLink Technologies to provide remote support, and learn all about what Day Service options GoodLife can offer. We wrapped up the tour with a quick Q&A session to answer all the awesome questions our C-TRAN group came prepared with.

Thank you C-TRAN for visiting with us! We hope you had as great a time on the tour as we did!
