We’re excited to announce that the Kansas Department of Commerce has officially approved our application for Community Service Tax Credits, enabling us to raise $324,000 in charitable gifts and unlock $162,000 in tax credits to support a vital initiative. Your donation will directly benefit Community Living Opportunities (CLO), GoodLife’s property development affiliate, in building a state-of-the-art behavioral support facility in Douglas County for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) facing severe behavioral health challenges. Eligible donors contributing $250 or more will receive a 50% Kansas tax credit—meaning a $1,000 gift could cost as little as $500 after credits and deductions (please note that Donor Advised Funds cannot be used). Donations can be made online at mygoodlife.org/donate with a note saying “CLO Tax Credit,” or by mailing a check to CLO at PO Box 14395, Lenexa, KS 66285-4395.
