Now Open in Southeast Kansas

Rock Creek allows individuals with disabilities to work‭, ‬learn‭, ‬and grow in the natural beauty of a rural‭, farm-setting in Butler County, ‬KS‭. ‬

Programs at Rock Creek teach life‭, ‬social‭, ‬and job skills through hands-on activities like animal care‭, ‬gardening‭, ‬arts‭, ‬cooking‭, ‬events‭, classes‭, ‬and more‭. ‬

What is Rock Creek?

Rock Creek is a former lodge and event venue located in Butler County, KS that was recently acquired and renovated by GoodLife to accommodate our Day Services Attendees.

Rock Creek is located on a beautiful 15-acre farm featuring 3 ponds, lush greenery, and a beautifully renovated log building. The Farm provides a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of city life as well as a place for recreation and leisure for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Explore Your Creativity

Rock Creek offers unique and creative programs during the day. Individuals enrolled in Day Services can enjoy the Farm, take life skill classes, cooking classes, visual and performing arts classes, and enjoy a community-based curriculum in Southeast Kansas.

Activities for Everyone

Rock Creek is an extension of GoodLife’s Midnight Farm program based in Douglas County, Kansas. Rock Creek offers our South Kansas residents and visitors wonderful opportunities for learning and growth in a caring and welcoming community.

The Farm boasts several opportunities to express creativity. There are various options to explore the arts including printmaking and textiles, painting, and more.

Gardening at Midnight Farm

Gardening & Agriculture

Visitors are immersed in the fascinating world of plant life. This program offers opportunities to learn about seasonal gardening and different types of plants and learn flower arranging.

At Rock Creek, visitors can get an up-close and personal experience with our farm animals! Visitors have an opportunity to interact with the animals and learn grooming, ranching basics, and how to care for animals.

KC Pop_TEAM Work

TEAM Work

TEAM Work stands for Two Employees Accomplish More Work. GoodLife recently expanded our TEAM Work program to the Farm. Now, people interested in working at Rock Creek can, with the mentorship of a farm employee, learn job skills related to ranching, lawn care, maintenance, events, and more.

Special Events

Rock Creek will host regular events like dances, sports and fitness, art in the park, movie nights and more. We also host concert series representing all genres of music.
